Is anyone here interested in any Pontiac(USA) Quadrajets?

Hey!

I figured it might be worthwhile posting here, to possibly avoid any headache with over-the-border shipments, or paypal;

I would prefer to deal in person and be paid in cash, but shipping within Canada and recieving an e-trasfer is my next choice.

I am making this thread because recently bought what I believe to be a dead-ringer for the numbers/date-correct carb for my car, and would like to sell some of my "spares" to cover this expensive purchase.

I have been dabbling in (mostly Pontiac) Quadrajets since I started a search for an affordable correct carb for my car back in 1995(!) - it kind of became a sub-hobby, and I have enjoyed looking over period Pontiac Quadrajets to record the unique year by year traits.
In doing so, I have both figured out what to look for as far as correct versus (somtimes grossly incorrect) components, and ended up helping others by sharing my findings.

I tried "fishing" on kijiji earlier this year with arguably my most desirable spare, but didn't get any bites... oh well - so much for using (unsold) ebay listings as points of reference!!

I am NOT looking to sell all of these, but rather just enough to cover the cost of my recent eBay-USA purchase.

I will be happy to provide pictures or any additional requested information on any of the following units;
(My asking price does not include shipping, I will ship as per your request, and only charge what I am quoted.)

My asking price would be $400 any of the following:

7029268 (OE) undated; this is an early unit which had the full application number stamped on the fuel bowl, and the manufacture date stamped on the throttlebody; it appears to have a replacement (correct casting number) throttlebody; this carb is dirty, and has not as of yet been gone through by myself.

7040263* (SR) dated 1639 (163rd day of 1979); perfect shape, gone through and wrong parts replaced.

7040263* (OE) dated 2749 (274th day of 1969); a little worse for wear, has been through rebuilders; extra vacuum line plugged with lead; incorrect parts replaced with correct parts

7040262 (OE) dated 2109 (210th day of 1969); mint-mint-mint; bought as a new old stock rebuild nearly twenty years ago ('Tech rebuilt carburetor'); not modified, fantastic original colouring, incorrect service parts replaced with correct parts

7041264 (OE) dated 0571 (57th day of 1971); this carb is dirty, and has not as of yet been gone through by myself.

7041262 (OE) dated 3560 (356th day of 1970); this carb is dirty, and has not as of yet been gone through by myself.

7042264 (OE) dated ??; this is my spare "runner" which is in the garage right now and has been used alot by myself; the rubber on the power piston needs to be replaced to get it be replaced to get back into running shape

7043263 (OE) dated 3453 SOLD

The following carbs I would be asking $350 each:

7043264; this carb has not as of yet been gone through by myself; if interested I can grab a date off of it; early model year; pre-emmisions recertification

7043266; this carb has not as of yet been gone through by myself; if interested I can grab a date off of it; late model year; post-emmisions recertification

7044268; this carb has not as of yet been gone through by myself; if interested I can grab a date off of it; this is a 1974 GTO/automatic carburetor and comes with the very specific kickdown bracket.

7041540; Buick divorced choke 800cfm; this carb has not as of yet been gone through by myself; I bought it then squirrelled it away.

* = of these two carbs, I absolutely will not sell both.

This picture is intended for reference.

I will give it about a week to gauge interest here, then list some of these elsewhere, and maybe even (gasp) try ebay (I haven't sold on there in probably a decade).

Thanks very much in advance for humoring this long winded post :)

 I know what you mean about selling on ebay. It has been a lot of years for me as well. High fees, shipping costs and lack of bidders for parts coming from Canada makes it less attractive as a seller.
 Anyways, can you send me some pictures of the this carb please:

7043263 (OE) dated 3453 (345th day of 1973 - yup you read this correct, a "1973" application was carried forward into 1974!); this carb is dirty, and has not as of yet been gone through by myself.
