I'm not sure if I ever posted this. I've blanked out the owner info and last part of the VIN for obvious reasons.
What a rare car, a 2 door post 327 4 speed. It was for sale as a shell, no engine or trans, about 8 or so years ago. Weird thing about it was, the body number on it was something like 0083, and yet the car was built after Christmas as you can see in the documents. Going by the body number, normally it should have been built in the first day or two of production I would think.
It was in BC too. I can't recall which site I saw the ad on but wow what a rare one.
Funny thing was, I started poking around, asking guys I knew in BC if they knew the car and I recall one guy told me he knew a guy who had a twin to this car (except different colour) sitting in his garage, parked for something like 25 years. I've long lost the contact info.
Oh how I'd love to own a 65 2 door post factory 327 4 speed.....
