Anybody see the TV movie over the weekend about John Delorean?

Alec Baldwin (altho I'm not a fan) did a good job and looked the part with serious makeup tweaks.

One glaring mistake has Delorean trying to sell his 1964 GTO concept to Pontiac brass. On the screen is a

white 1960 Pontiac (assume Catalina) screaming around a banked oval. No number but could be Glenn 'Fireball' Roberts

number 22 before lettering. (Roberts got his nickname from pitching in the minor leagues - not driving)

Delorean is pointing to the car and says...... "this is a GTO...(Gran Turismo Omolagata)".

I've had several 60 Pontiacs (Canadian and American) and never considered them a GTO in the purist sense,

so much for historical accuracy.......cry

I saw it pop up as a recommendation but figured I'd never get my wife to buy into watching it.

I see "Framing John DeLorean" is on "Crave" on Thursday. Unfortunately I don't subscribe to that channel.

It's on Crave now by the looks of it. I'm surprised you don't have to step up to the $20/month plan to get access to it like most of the other "premium" content they have on there.
