Cheap '53 Olds kijiji NS

Full disclosure: I happen to know the seller, in case anybody has any questions, though I haven't seen the car in person.  I do know that he is an honest, stand-up kind of guy who I would trust to drive my own car (actually, I have...).  This isn't a sales pitch, though, just thought some might find it interesting.

1953 Oldsmobile 88 4 dr

$1,500.00

I brought this back from Saskatchewan with the intention of doing something with it but... you know that road to Hell that's full of good intentions... I seem to recall it had a beat up 1967 Sask plate on it. The car is pretty much complete right down to the sun baked patina. Original 303 ROCKET V8 and Hrdra-Matic are in it. ENGINE IS STUCK and is missing the 4 barrel and air cleaner. The whole thing needs redone. MOST of the rust is cosmetic and NOT structural. Would make a nice rat rod/350 recipient or candidate for an S10 driveline. Looking for $1500 or better.

Neat car however the cost to redo all the chrome would be astronomical.

I'm pretty sure he has never had it apart - it is as it was when he trailered it out east.  I don't know if it can be freed up or not... if not it would be cool garage art!
