Original 1964 - 1966 Chevrolet 2 Spoke Wood Wheel

This is an original 64 - 66 2 spoke wood wheel. It is in driver quality condition. It is a good candidate for restoration or can be used as is.

The wheel sits flat, no bends, the spokes and ring are in nice condition. There are cracks at 12, 3, 6 & 9 o'clock and another small one around 10:30.

The diameter is 16 1/4 inches, dish is about 3 inches. The wheel is bare, what you see is what you get.

The difference in diameter between Corvairs and the rest of the Chevy line for these wheels is negligible.

Dave, I'm going to be in the Polo Park area tomorrow afternoon. If you are going to be at work I could pick it up on the way in and drop it off there.

Now i just need the hub,  horn kit, and a horn button.

Looks great!  or should i say "original"  just what i wanted, an authentic looking original, not a repro junker.   i picked up an original pitted horn cap today,  again better than rechromed crap.   Now i just need to find the HUB and i am good to go.

Dang,  i knew you had one for sale last year, but i didnt have a wheel to go with it

Question,  just what is the problem with the repro ones? i think there was a fit issue?,  i might have no choice but to go repro.

make sure it is a "Trim Parts" part. Should be ok. I believe made in USA. Check their web site.
