Tarmac Tavern open in the Desert

So every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 2:30 the Tarmac Tavern opens up outside the Desert Ice Castle here in Palm Springs. Once a month its a barbecue and other weeks pizza or fried chicken. Probably the most fun a person could have after playing Canadas greatest game. I can see why I havent lost any weight. Thought Id share my favourite hang out here. Picture is a little smokey.

You didn't bring any Canadian beer with you? Oh well, cold American beer is better than no beer at all.

Palm Springs, you going to visit Frank Sinatra's old place while there? Address is 1148 E Alejo Rd, Palm Springs, CA

Actually there are a few Canadian beers here for sale but my old standby is regular Buds, 36 for $19. Guys bring lots of ales and specialty beers too plus the Mexican so lots to choose from. When ice cold most of them are good especially when you hit the dressing room.

I may try visit it plus we hike behind Bob Hopes house. Apparently Sinatra is buried a couple hundred yards down the road from us on Ramon. Quite a bit of Hollywood history with the names of the streets.
