Have been looking for a couple of Pontiac exterior badges for a 1966 Parisienne Custom Sport convertible, with no success.
Would anyone here have a 1966 Parisienne parts book that might show an original G.M. part number for this badge shown here ? I would be very happy if someone could find me a part number, as I think I need to start looking for some NOS sources, and having the part number would sure be helpful !
Recently sold a couple of the only ones I had to another fella in Saskatoon who is working on a 66 Custom Sport rag with interesting Saskatchewan history. The trunk is smaller than the fenders and they all vary in size depending on the year. I've picked up a few at swap meets over the years that don't fit a 66. By the way, the fender emblems bolt on and the trunk pushes on, go figure.
Well Guy's, ...a huge "Shout Out" to all of you Folk's who have help me with this part number challenge !!!
Carl, Clint, Ted, Ken, and Mark, the next time that you are in your favourite bar, please have a couple on me, and just tell the Bartender to put it on my tab !!!
You Guys are a huge resource for information and help in this Group !
Many thanks again, now I am as Happy as a Clam !!!
I'll have at least a couple next week for all of us on a warm patio!
I'd love to actually scan and PDF the entire contents of the Canadian Master Parts Catalog. It'd be a huge job, but it would sure be a great resource for everyone here.

Are those part #'s also the same #'s that are on the emblems? As indicated this morning, occasionally I find the # on the back of the emblem is a casting #, not a part #.
The numbers that cdnpont gives above are the same ones I found and they are common to both 1965 and 1966 Custom Sports.
... and '64 CS emblems look the same, but they are not.

The part number 5738322 is cast into a spare fender emblem I have.
Have checked a few U.S. NOS parts sources so far, but no luck yet.
I guess it is tough to find 54 year old emblems anywhere. At least I have an actual part number now, so I am grateful to all of you Poncho Guys for that !
Being a Canadian only item when it was new really makes it difficult. It's much easier to find many of the parts for the US models than it is for our unique cars, no doubt.

Just wondering here.....would you ever think about parting with the spare "Custom Sport" emblem that you mentioned ?
I have looked high, and low, and cannot find any of these anywhere.
My Pontiac Parisienne is a Custom Sport, and even having just one to put on the trunk deck would certainly help show it's "True Colours". It is just a driver, not a show car.
Thanks if you could consider this idea.

I attend a lot of swap meets and I have saw those emblems on occasion. I will watch for you when the "virus thing" ramps down and we ever get back to what used to be "normal".
Thank you Brother ! I was thinking of a trip to Hershey this Summer, but pretty sure that has been scuttled as well as everything else. Show and Shines are going to be on ice for some time too !!!
Nice reward for anyone who can help me with this !!!
Agree with you on that point, as it was a Canadian Oshawa built car in the day.
I did find a Guy who has the entire set of all three emblems that I am looking for, but he is guarding them like the Holy Grail, and will not part with them. Sigh....

Interesting that my spare fender emblem casting number matches the above 5738322 but my spare trunk emblem doesn't. It's 5738321 which is very close to the number on the fender emblem. This makes me think that at some point they recast the trunk emblem.

Here's some pics of a spare trunk emblem. It is certainly better than I remembered it being but sure isn't minty.
Hi Gear Guy if your interested PM me.
BTW it measures about 8 1/8" long and when held up to the original on my car it is an exact match.
The fender emblem is 2" longer
