City Buick in Toronto used to be on the Danforth near Main St before moving to Victoria Park and Lawrence circa 1964/65.

Wonder where this emblem came from?

 Wondering the same thing.

I had a cousin, Robert Eyers, who was General Sales Manager at City in the 70's & into the 80's before he had a heart attack. He survived but while he was recovering they made his job redundant. For a couple of years I would get the inside scoop, brochures right out of the box plus paint charts & interior swatches right around new car introduction time (used to be a big deal back in the day). I  also used to get the dealer posters at the end of the year from Doug Leggat in Hamilton.

I remember Henning Motors. On the north approach to Port Dover on the old #6 into town. I remember seeing on their lot a new 1971 GMC Sierra Grande like the one shown below in the unique Canadian Ice Coral Pink, done to acknowledge Margaret Trudeau's wedding dress as she wed PET in 1971.

The dealer is now a Kia dealership.

We also stopped by Henning Motors in 1974 to look at a new Parisienne Brougham on our way back from Long Point. In those days, somewhere else between there & Mount Hope there also used to be a farmer that had a Plymouth-Chrysler franchise and he spread about 30 cars & trucks out across a lovely rolling grassy hill beside Highway 6. It was really eye-catching as it looked like a Chrysler Canada staged photo. Perhaps it was just the overflow from the Caledonia Plymouth dealer that had a small store by the Grand River at Argyle & #54.

BTW, if you hate your brakes & undercarriage, leave your car parked on the grass.

He's got a number of items including a Rumble NOS dealer plate. I told him I'd take City and Rumble.

Ted do you have a spare Rumble?

So you got the City, congrats
Yah, I had already spoken for the Rumble before I posted about the City one.

Waiting on his reply, I was going to move the Rumble along to you anyway, I've got an extra.

Actually he had 5 different ones advertised. I posted about the City one because I remembered someone on here asking a while back. I then asked about 3 of the remaining ones including the Rumble. When no one jumped right away I told him I'd take all 5. It was then that he told me the City one was sold, and I hoped it was someone on CP. I committed to the other 4.
Hopefully just need to dot the is and cross the ts

Unfortunately didn't get the City emblem but got the other 4 ( Willison, Toronto, Surgenor, Ottawa, Armstrong, New Liskeard and Rumble, Leaside ).
The Surgenor and Armstrong must be a little more recent, although still cast, as they attach by tape.
The Willison is slightly pitted.
The Rumble is a real gem. The pins on the back have never had speed nuts threaded on so essentially never used, brand new.

Cam, is this the same Leggat that is in Rexdale now.
