Wow, that brings back memories.  I kinda liked those old geometric designs a little better than today's.

It's funny how something can be so uber-common, then disappear.  Then you see them years later and it's almost like seeing an old friend again...

Yep i went to the bank and got 10 one dollar bills with sequential serial numbers.
Came home and showed them off to my young grandson an put them away in a special spot in my dresser.

Months later one of the neighbours saw my grandson with the bills. He had found them and wanted to treat his young friends. He got busted by the neighbour who retreived what she could of and had him return them to me.

I was taken back that this happened and I think i recovered about 7.00 although the sequence had been broken.

This post prompted me to find the Centennial Dollars, ...... at this point my memory refuses to tell me where I hid them after this incident.
