Paris swap meet

Hey guys and gals!

Just found some cool stuff at the swap meet!a question ?

I have a question? What bolts or screws did the factory use to mount the glass

windshield washer bottle?

Thanks!8F98D5C1-3FB5-4BF8-B958-423DF6B98DA6.jpeg2058600C-76A7-476D-A5E6-1645962AE404.jpeg6AD55E96-5470-43BD-B9E4-6DE6D904DB7B.jpegF2DA9462-696E-4B08-ABA5-2695E1DF613E.jpeg9DB22946-50D5-45B6-841D-1C531C9FECB3.jpeg

They used two little pointed tip (kind of a self tapping) screws to mount the bottle. I think it was a 5/16" head, maybe 3/8". I can check my car later if you like.

Nice find!

Now I have more questions?

Should the bracket be black or silver?

And what year should the glass bottle say on the bottom?

This one is 1961

Not that it matters on my driver quality car but I love knowing the history

They were zinc plated. Also the bottle would have a label for your appropriate car year.

Most originals seem to say 1961 regardless of the year and have CANADA embossed into the bottom just like yours.
Should be able to get the correct label at Osbourne Reproductions or Bruce Levy.

The labels varied just slightly from year to year. Some are black and white while others have a bit of colour.
The one above is very close.

I'm sorry I haven't checked this yet. I have my car up on the hoist and my truck underneath so I can't let it down until maybe later this week. Is that ok?
