Pics are great.
Body looks solid and the colour suits the wagon. Interior colour might indicate the original body colour. .

What is hiding in the shed just over the rear tail light?

Thanks.. I remember  this 55 when I was just a kid, when i was sixteen  i used to stop my truck run up the guy's  driveway and peek in the windows.. this guy  turned  out to be my father in law years later.. I've worked on it with him over  the years,  this car has taken  a lot of my blood sweat and tears..just to let all you  car  guys out there, I didn't  marry her for the car I promise lol... Andy  has owned  this for over 35 years.. he pulled  this out of the woods  and has been tinkering  with it for a long time..  he said it was time for this sedan  to move on so it can be looked  after  by someone that will drive work on and love.. this rare ride. I just happened  to be the lucky  person...

I'm sure the color  was like a off green, I could be wrong  though. I was so excited  to yank  this car today  I didn't  even notice  the car in the background.  I will be going  back to the yard  this spring  to grab another car.  I will definitely  look then. There  is a old studebaker on this property  to..

Notice how the tail light holes are '55 Chevy? I think GM Canada did the same thing on the '56 Pontiac sedan deliveries (used a '55 Chevy tail light hole).

Beautiful car. I like that it has a bench seat. Most original ones that I have seen over the years had one or two very uncomfortable looking bucket seats. I wonder if the bench seat is original?

Now there is a real beauty. What motor is in that rare bird, i am going to guess a souped up Chevy small block. We need more pictures of your rare special car. Cheers. smile

I want to start  off by saying  thank you.. this site  is full of beautiful  and cool cars, it is the original  seat for sure. Showing  some age for sure. Its pretty  comfortable,  I drove it from Victoria  to whitehorse  a few years ago. The  seat  is pretty  close to the gigantic steering wheel, it took me awhile  to figure  out that I had to have the window down one arm hanging  out, the other arm laid across the steering wheel and that is the most comfortable way to  drive the old girl...

The old bird is running  a 327 with mild cam, heads out of a late

68 impala they were  striped  down and redone, so she doesn't  mind the fuel coming  out of the gas pumps. Mild high rise soon to have a new edelbrok. Still got the original  egxust manifolds with true dual exhaust. She has alot  of blind spots  I'll tell you..

Congratulations. Cool ride. The car in the background looks like a 63 Pontiac ragtop.
