Fire, floods...what next?

ACK! australia was on fire, now the eastern seaboard is experiencing floods! At least its put the fires out....swarms of locusts next?

on another more sober note, we lost a few firies and 3 US airtanker men after their tanker crashed. Vale to these heroes. No words can soften their loss but in our eyes they were heroes. thank you.

The whole story is sad. I hope Australia has many years (decades) of clear sailing ahead!

We certainly feel for everything the Aussies have been going through. It can only get better, we hope

"Fire, floods...what next?"

I opened this thread thinking it was about Alberta......doesn't seem to be as much compassion for us folks living here in Alberta.

Move to Australia? It would scare the hell out of me with all the deadly critters running around.

What's Alberta? (just kidding).

I always say; "If I didn't live on PEI, I'd live in Newfoundland". Asking for directions is dangerous in Newfoundland!biggrin
