67 Chevelle SS396 project car coming in to Winnipeg last night?

Coming in to the city last night in the dark on #1 east we passed someone pulling a pretty cool project car. Looked to be a black (maybe dark blue) SS396 hardtop needing a full restoration. Anyone know about it?

Could it be JD travelling under cover of darkness?

One just surfaced in Sherwood Park as a barn find 67 SS 396 in black on Facebook. Guy said he got it yesterday.

LOL, I was on my way home from out cottage just west of Dryden/Vermilion Bay area! He never had a chance of sneaking home with that car!

He has replied on the Facebook page where it's being discussed, yes, that was him. You likely saw him in Dryden mid afternoon?

It got a little salty ... should have stopped for a half hour before heading home at the nearest car wash.

I only saw it at 60 mph as we slowly passed him on the 4 lane in the dark, never talked to him.
