Nice 1975 pontiac Ventura Sj Sprint on Barn finds

https://barnfinds.com/rare-double-optioned-1975-pontiac-ventura-sj-sprint/

Nice color - I wonder if the black paint on the rockers/ lower fenders is a factory treatment - not a big fan of the sticker style decals - I would think chrome emblems would work better

If you read some of the reader comments the engine is  flagged as being a Buick 350  which apparently was a factory offering in those years

The decals & paint treatment is stock. So is the Buick 350, a big reason the GTO didn't return for '75 was that they were going to use a Buick 350 under the hood. To a GTO aficionado anything other than Pontiac power was a no-no. Buick under the hood was as bad as a Chevy. A '75 Sprint is a rare find. I don't remember many, and '75 had rust issues.

A friend had the Olds Omega equivalent of that car, a '75-only Omega Salon hatchback with a 350 4-barrel & FE2 suspension. It was a nice car. He was running 60-series white lettered B. F. Goodrich T/As on the factory body-coloured Rocket wheels. Sold it in 1984 for a Dodge Charger, but not a real Charger, a Dodge Omni coupe with a 2.2 L4.

I like it (except what they did with the exhaust - factory tailpipes looked much better).

I do wonder about the white seat, which looks out of place.  I had a dark blue '76 Nova with white interior and the door panels were white as well, which brought continuity to the interior.  IIRC the dash and carpet was blue.  I'm wondering if the white seat with blue door panels are correct for this car because as it is, it just looks like somebody found a white bench in the junkyard and installed it in this car instead of having the blue seats reupholstered (that's just what it looks like to me).

Nice car though, I would drive it!

Nice car. The only thing I don't like is the black on the rockers. After almost 7 years here in PEI that usually means the rockers got a quickie bondo and rocker guard rot repair. Now I'm damaged!
