I placed an order for a new item (non automotive) through a Canadian seller on Ebay and was expecting

the item to be delivered in about 10 days through Canada Post. A week went by and I got a delivery to the door.

I thought it was my item coming early.

But it was from Amazon not Canada Post,so I assumed my daughter was using my address as she usually does.

I accepted the very heavy package and realized it had my name on it not my daughter's.

Turns out this Amazon package was the Ebay package I was waiting for.......I then had to recheck if I had ordered the

item from Ebay or Amazon. I did order the item from Ebay,and checked...... it was also being sold on Amazon.

My cost ($129.) would have been $3.00 cheaper had I ordered it through Amazon, and delivery obviously was faster.

The seller had charged me $20.00 to deliver through Canada Post which was a good deal since it was extremely heavy.

This got me thinking that some sellers selling on Ebay are using Amazon to get their items delivered more efficiently.

Somehow doing this was worth paying both Ebay and Amazon the fee to sell items. 

Lesson learned, check Amazon as well as Ebay for a purchases, might be a better deal...and faster delivery.

Anybody experience the same seller switch?
