Well the guy must not be too anxious to sell as I asked for photo's and haven't received anything yet.
I'm guessing with the black interior it'll be the black houndstooth (basically the same as 69 Camaro). I wish I had cloth in my 2+2's instead of vinyl.
Well curiosity gets the best of me, and I like to see what's out there. Today I got some photo's from the seller, they're not the best quality as they're taken in an underground garage, with the absence of a flash. He sent 5 or 6, but this angle tells the tale of what one has to work with:
Check out that quarter panel.
Now you Ontario & Quebec guys may be drooling over this, but us prairie guys will pass on it.
It's obviously been repainted at some point, as it's missing the 2+2 stripes and has a body side moulding applied.
I'd guess the frame to be ok. Tough to tell as I'm finding there is no correlation between body & frame rot.
The 69 2+2 hdtp that donated it's frame to my 70 Parisienne hdtp was pretty rusty, but frame ok. The 70 Parisienne I got from Jerel was pretty rusty, but frame ok and went to Cayuga ON. My 70 Parisienne hdtp had it's share of rust (nothing like an eastern car), but it's frame was toast as there was just so much dirt inside the boxed frame rails that held the moisture.
