Looks like this may be my only source of entertaiment for a while.

I told my wife that with no sports on TV, I might need more entertainment biggrin

She said,

" Go start a hockey fight on your forum "

"Yes dear"

My favourite car of all time is,

88 cougar.jpg

I have owned this one for 32 years. (305,000 kms)

I have had owned 6 of these cars (4 parts cars)

Yes of course there is a forum for this car but you guys are more fun !

Note !

I can not be offended, this is all in fun biggrin

Hey I like those!  Hazmat suit on... I really liked the Fox chassis, having had a '78 Fairmont, '92 Mustang LX 5.0, and having driven Fairmont wagons way back when I worked for the city as a summer job.  Also my mother in law used to have an '85 (I think) Cougar, black with red interior.  All were very good cars to drive, with decent road feel, toughness, and if you look at the variety of cars that Ford used that chassis on, versatility.

Have fun with it, but you won't get any criticism from me (sorry... no hockey fight here... lol).

Pretty bad yard full of furds there, except maybe that big black sedan on the left. Friend had a Marauder, he drove about 70,000KM's per year, wrote it off. He was on the highway and the car in front of him hit a moose. He hit the dead moose and wrote his car off. Promptly bought another big furd sedan.
My Dad sold GM from 57-85, owned about 15-20 "antiques" from 1970 until he died in 2000. Other than a 58 caddy and a 40 buick, they were all furds, newest was a 41.

It's not that bad yet.

My brother is on his way over with a Mopar that needs a battery.

Yep, behind the front wheel, under the wheel well.

I have never removed a wheel to change a battery before.

Is this what the world is coming too ?

I'm fixing a Dodge ?

No pics of this one will be posted !!!

Convertible, not coupe.  Convertible was Chrysler, coupe was Diamond-Star (Mitsubishi).  Same layout as Cirrus, Breeze, Stratus...

2012 Dodge Journey

Original battery, not bad.

The location lead to the tray being full of debris and the securing rod being rusted right up.

CARQUEST in London had the cheap battery for $120 with a $9 core ($111)

or, a mid level battery for $127 with a $18 core ($109) confuse

The plastic clips all fell apart just like the YouTube video told me they would.

So the car now has a tie down from my sock of stuff I never know why I keep.

And the inner fender is now properly secured with clips and screws off the wrecked lower valence off my

brother in-law's 2017 Sierra biggrin

It just seemed so appropriate to put it on the old run down, literally crappy outhouse. The nice one with the wonderful composting toilet and the sink with running water has the Cadillac emblem on it!

I can slip a 1965 Parisienne 2 door post under his left hand.

Can't find a decent 66 photo for some reason.
