Interesting and odd ordering a three speed and not a four speed, considering that higher out put 396. It might be more understandable if it was the tamer 396. Still a real sweet time machine there.

I friend of mine bought a 1967 SS396 Chevelle new. It was also a three speed on the floor. The only options other than the SS396 package was an am radio, rear window defogger and sintered metallic drum brakes. He said he wasnt paying more money to shift one more gear. It worked really well. You could slide into second about 15 mph and leave there until 90mph or more. While everyone with a four speed was busy with a 2 to 3 shift he was long gone.
Another friend has had the car for thirty years, going to restore it someday.

Couldn't put the alternator on the "right" side?? Really. I would've painted the rad black and is that the right washer bottle sitting there? I thought they were still the glass ones on the inner fender. I could be wrong.......If I am sorry. Nice car though.

A LIFE LONG FRIEND OF MINE HAS A 67 CHEVELLE  SS  396 AND 3 SPEED MANUAL ON THE FLOOR.

HE HAS OWNED IT SINCE 1970.  ( WAS A LOCAL CAR, GM DOCUMENTATION )

No harm, no foul as they say on Barrett Jackson. The engine is not originally dressed anyway.

Nice car in black, but originally an Aztec Bronze car.
