Positive news for a change

In Quebec you must use winter tires until March 15. Hence yesterday since the roads were dry and no salt residue pebbles I took the Poncho out. Felt good. Test run for about 9 miles.

I hope others are able to enjoy as well.

Nice dry roads but I see clouds of sand swirling off the median on the hwy. we need a good day of rain to flush the roads clean

Got a puncture on my way back home on my daily driver. Got it fixed right away but apparently now they will be shutting down some garages too! My mechanic told me they are monitoring what the government states because they may need to close down by the weekend. I called another mechanic I know and he confirmed that he will likely close down on Saturday and work reduced hours next week on emergency repairs only.

Imagine ... domino effect, cars break down, can't get them fixed, can't be mobile to get your groceries for family & deliver them to elderly parents as they can't get out anyway, can't use car to get to work etc.

I'll stop now :(

Still minus 10 to 15 below at over night.
It just getting above zero in the day, puddles are starting to form and roads are starting to show signs of pavement...
Slowly but surely its coming here to.

Very similar here. Also need a good rain as there's lots of salt ( and that silly juice ) still on the roads

There's no way you could do that yet where I live. Salt is still everywhere, not to mention tons of snow.

That's why I stopped!

I took the car out again today. Yesterday it rained and the roads are getting cleaner. The main enemy now are the potholes.

But after a long winter nothing compares to the thumbs up once again. Just have to remember to pack up some sunscreen!

Took a nice drive to my body shop.

Body guy is working by himself now.

No more visiting after today.

Installed my vin plate.

Interesting... You just gave me an idea. My plate is painted over and I've been afraid of trying to remove the paint off without damage to the plate.

Has anyone ever done this successfully and if so what do you suggest?

Soft wire brushed the paint off my Beaumont plate then very carefully taped it when I painted the firewall. As such it has lost originality as the originals just had a piece of 2
' tape haphazardly applied across the plate when the firewall was factory painted.
