1964 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible 421, 4 barrel engine, automatic transmission - Originally with air conditioning, TI ignition, 8 lug wheels - Imported from California, have required customs paperwork - Project car needing lots of work - Some rust in lower rocker panels, damage to wheel well in trunk - Lots of NOS parts and trim I have collected and would sell with the car - Has been sitting in my garage for 10 years and I do not have the time to restore.

Me too, what a cool car and great options! How cool would a factory air 421 Bonneville with TI, 8 lugs and power windows be......

'64 Parisienne Custom Sport's big, wide-tracking brother.

I know someone on PEI that owned a '64 Parisienne Custom Sport that "cut down" the rocker trim on one of these to fit his car.

It sounds like the seller hasn't bothered to register the car in Canada. I went through that with the 59 Dodge I had. It took a full day of running around to Customs for updated paperwork (and convincing the customs guy that he didn't need to see the car) and then to the MTO to get registration straightened around. I had to take the seller with me!

What a nice car that would have been new! It looks solid, tired but not too bad. 421 is pretty cool, as Pontiac had pride in their performance engines and didn't mind advertising it on the car. Silver Blue is a very nice '64 colour. Transistor Ignition!

Regarding the a/c, somebody will have to find an A6 compressor for it. With the a/c system left open it will need a complete overhaul. If it is done here it will require a tag, not what you want on a restoration. It would be nice to go to the U.S. & have the a/c done & charged with R-12 (thanks to reclamation it is still available despite not having been produced in 30 years).
