Bill, nice score! It looks familiar, by any chance was your El Camino Marina Blue at one point? There was a Greek guy in West Hill (Scarborough) who owned a couple of really nice '67s, including an El Camino Custom with a 396, TH400, buckets, console, plus it was dressed up as an SS396. With exception of the paint colour, plus the tailgate had black rather than woodgrain, it looked exactly like yours. This would have been in the late 90's.  He also owned a Butternut Yellow '67 Chevelle SS396 coupe, a former L34 car that looked stock but had a crate LS6 dressed to look like an L78. He also had a stone stock '67 Chevelle SS396 coupe in Nantucket Blue that was stock right down to the whitewall Wide Ovals, dog dish caps & factory pinstripes.

I've chatted with Mike Piggot about some of the various Beaumont SDs that have passed through your hands. We regard you as an expert on them. thumbsup.gif

What is there not to love in a Chevy El Camino and i love them all from 1959 to 1972 but i have to admit it is the 1959 first year model that i love the most.

Bought a few of them in the south. Leave the bodys behind just want the boxed frames. Shorten them to use under convertibles

There's a 66 El Camino frame sitting under my 64 SD rag. I had to buy a mostly complete camino to get the frame. Sold the glass and doors so recouped most of the expense.
