Just got a notice from Wayfarer (didn't even know that name). You know, the old Silver Wheels, Lant, Aviva or whatever before.

It's now called just Hagerty. Probably just another bi yearly name change?

Got that notice today as well.

Wayfarer has been running cars and coffee all last season one Sunday a month. Its' a nice drive from City centre up to Stouffville on a Sunday morning. I took the Corvette, seemed to fit in better with Porsches, Ferraris, Mercedes, MG'S, Healeys that show up there. Also some concours 60's cars.

I dealt with Silver Wheel and Lant and Company since the 1980's. Dealing with Tony Lant and his company all those years showed me how much of a class act Tony was. I can only hope that Hagerty will be as good to deal with, if the time ever arises.

I had nothing but trouble with Lant/Aviva a few years ago and documented it here, on putting in a claim. Sure their good until the time comes to "test" them and they "FAILED" badly!!! Can only hope that Wayfair is better ,if that's who Haggarty stays with? I won't get into details again but Insurance Co. I'm with now was just a " GEM" with garage fire and loss of cars.

Have a friend, who through his own misfortune, damaged his XKE rdstr. Hagerty saw the repair through to completion to his satisfaction and under his watchful eye. I should add that his standards are way up there so it cost them a pretty penny.
Personally I've always been with the competition.
