66 Beaumont 4 door on kijiji Trenton, ON

4 door 283 powerglide. Standard brakes(?)

Looks in amazing shape and says original paint and may be because dealer emblem is still on car.

No plates on car which seems to indicate it's a resale.

Original paint?! Wow, now that is a survivor! Looks to be a base 732-series. Just a little minor detailing and it would be a stunner (for the originality people).

I don't know about 12.5, but even project Chevelles & Beaumonts from that year in solid condition bring money. After seeing how much body & paintwork are now, it is better to spend up front for a better car. This one fits the bill. 4-doors are a tough call though.

They can look neat:

The Beaumont is especially nice for a 4 door sedan. That color is one of my favorites for that year, exactly the same as my 66 Caprice.

I'd be happy with it to tool around in but $12500 is too high for me.

Current ad picture samples:

I noticed the V8 tag was missing from the front fender. Original paint? That means it was a 194 six originally. That got me thinking, where have I seen it before? A quick check and I found another ad from April 2015 of the same car for sale in Brantford, ON.

At that time the car was listed for $18,500 and claimed 14,200 original miles! No winters, obviously.

2015 ad picture samples:

Wait, I did a little more digging and found another ad from 2010. At that time it was for sale in Calgary for $2200.  In the 2010 ad it said the following: "3RD OWNER STORED LAST 10 YEARS Interior and some trim needs reassembly after paint job 6 years ago. NEW CHROME, NEW GLASS......HOOD PARTED OUT IS WORTH OVER $1000 ....Windshield was over $1000 .One harness needs replacing. Was a daily driver."

2010 ad pictures:

SO, it isn't original paint IF this is the same car as the other later ads from Ontario. That could explain why there aren't holes for the 230 badges that this car had in the pics from the 2010 ad. Unless this isn't the same car in 2010.

Bring a Spot Rot gauge to check the paint thickness. That could reveal if it is the same car or not.

Maybe not the same....the 2010 picture doesn't look to have the rear back-up light holes in the rear  bumper as the other pictures have.

Dealer emblem now says Kingsgate. Anyone know where that would have been?
The 2010 car has holes for a dealer emblem but at a slightly different location.
Anyone asked for the data plate info?

My wife has a brother that lives there, right at the water. Yes a very beautiful little town.

I dont think that is the same car, the second car has about 200 gallons of body filler in the rear quarters and wheel arc.  And the holes for the dealer emblem are in a higher location.

I do believe you are right. 2 different cars, though almost identical when built, that went down separate roads in service.

It was a hunch that was worth investigating.  thumbsup.gif
