Dug up some old old photos of relatives cars in the 50's.

Looking through some of my old photo albums i dug up these photos of some of my relatives cars in the 1950's. 1955 Pontiac in Strathroy, Ontario. 1940-1941 Plymouth in New BedFord, Mass., U.S.A. and 1956 Dodge and 1950 Plymouth in New BedFord, Mass., U.S.A. I remember the vast majority of my American relatives owning Plymouth's and Dodge's right up to the 1970's. Back to the 50's archive.

About a dozen years ago one of the members of our local club dug up a whole bunch of photos of his relatives and their Pontiacs that were likely purchased from his grandfather who was a long time Pontiac salesman in Lethbridge AB.

Cool pictures George!

I saved a shoebox full of pictures from the '20s - '40s from our Waste Watch (dump) when I worked there.

I wish I could scan and post some of the over 50 car-related ones. I actually framed one because it was so cool. I'll try to take a picture of it and post it later.

There are couple of a vintage road snowplow that interesting also.

You need one of these scanners Darryl. My wife bought one for her bookkeeping business to scan receipts. She then had a request from somebody to scan three photo albums of photos. She had them all scanned in 3 hours. It works great

This is far more high tech than my simple scan device. I have a IT (Innovative Technology) scan device that does photos, slides and negatives. When i bought it about eight years ago it cost $100, now you can get them for about $40.00. It is simple but it works great. My model is the ITNS-500. Great fun when there is little else to do during this Corona virus melt down. smile

This an old original sepia photo (1940, can tell by the license plate on the car) of four young guys having a picnic. There so much detail for an old photo!

I used a jeweler's loop to see all the detail. They are drinking Seaman's pop (a PEI company, now gone) and there are a couple record albums on the ground, but couldn't see the gramophone.

In the background there are a few older cars and some women in fancy dresses.

Does anyone know the make/model of the car?
