I don't understand the rating of the shop towels but supposedly they are better than cotton,but not as good as vacuum cleaner bags....need to find verification of this. -G

I am sure we all know who NIOHS is, but for those of us who don't, the National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety is the authority who sets the Standards for many aspect regarding exposures including respirators in North America .
I thought this link might be interesting and shed some info on the subject of filter efficiency , and the different ratings of N P or R respirators.

When the time comes, I will be wearing a N95 mask in public, but I'm not quite there yet.
My wife has been wearing a N95 and gloves when she does chores around her Mother's unit in a seniors residence once a week. Her Mother has voluntarily self-isolated from the rest of the seniors in her residence. They still gather in a common area.
