hi all. I am about at whitts end with my 64 Chevy a/c system. I cant get cold air to come out of the eveporator. I have found lots of issues and and fixed and replaced lots of items. I have replaced... STV vacuum diaphragm compressor expansion valve receiver drier everything under the hood looks correct but the system acts as if its bypassing my evaporator and I just dont seem to understand why and what and how this STV valve controls that bypass function??? Have you checked the system pressures? Before any diagnosis we need to know what the pressures are on the low and high sides. Paul __________________
