That 57 was really loaded new. 283 V-8, Power Pack, Power Glide automatic, Power brakes, Power steering, Power windows, Windshield washer, Bumper guards, Electric wipers, Deluxe radio. Well optioned 57.

My 57 Poncho has a restored and working Autronic Eye set up, just like my 57 Chev before it. I love toys on a car because they are always more fun that way. biggrin

 Darryl. the fun is also working on them and fixing them when they break. It is a challenge when something fails and you fix it and there is a pride that goes with it. Cheers.

Very nice.  That car reminds me of the first time I took notice of a '57 4 door hardtop when I was a kid.  I had seen many 2 door hardtops and 4 door sedans, but when I noticed one of these with its unique rear glass and pillarless side glass it was like I saw a whole new car for the first time.

Would be a nice score, but too many options to fix!  (haha, kidding George)

What's funny, is that later in life, my Dad would haggle with the salesperson for a power antenna to be dealer-installed free when buying a new car. Always a power antenna.confuseIt gave him the feeling that he got one up on deal.
