Where does Canada’s gasoline come from?

https://energi.media/canada/where-does-canadas-gasoline-come-from/

"There are 14 gasoline-producing refineries in Canada (17 refineries in total):

6 in western Canada, 4 in Ontario, 2 in Quebec, and 2 in the Atlantic Provinces.

Although production varies by refinery, gasoline comprises the largest portion of refinery

output at 36 per cent, on average.

Refineries also produce a number of other refined petroleum products (RPPs) including diesel and jet fuel."

"In 2018, Canadians consumed 46 billion litres of gasoline."

George, for those of us here in Calgary, our gasoline comes from the refineries on Edmonton's Refinery Row.
It comes from there to Calgary via pipeline into storage tanks. It's then loaded into tanker trucks (where the particular brands additives are inserted) then delivered to the retailer.

The Irving Refinery in Saint John NB I believe are supplied with Crude from North Dakota , I am sure everyone remembers the tragic train derailment in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, Canada. There were 74 cars carrying crude oil that went off the tracks in that terrible event. If my memory serves me correct it was through the media at that time where I read or learned about the MTT rail line and the source of the product, but I could be wrong. The other source for the Irving group would be via the world market as you can see the Oceans going Freighters lined up in Saint John Harbor.
