What year and model is this Data plate from?

A person on Reddit Classic Cars posted it asking for the year and model info.

That plate could be 1928. The engine serial number looks too low and it doesnt say OSHAWA WALKERVILLE REGINA on the plate. The Regina GM plant opened in 1928 and shortly after the data plate showed that. Also it closed in 1941 and the additional plant names were deleted. The plate could be from 1948 but the engine number does look too low unless the number sequence  was restarted.

I found this plate on the Internet from a 1948 Chevy. It seems that yours is also 1948.

It would be a 1948 Chevy four dour sedan built in Oshawa.

1948 Chev Fleetmaster 2 door 5 pass coupe
serial numbers started at 8102700001 and went up.
engine numbers in 1948 started at 205001 and went up
Unfortunately my paint codes only go back to 1950

Sorry guys, I did mean Oshawa.

I was immediately fixated on the 10-19 model and spoke too quickly. ('37 and'38 Chevys have eaten my brain and I apologize for giving the WRONG information off the top of my head.) I should know better and I apologize again for my mistakes...
