Just wondering if there was any difference with the wiring harness between a column shift car or a floor shift one? A member is interested in a 67 harness I have but I didnt pull it off the car so am not sure if ita origin. I just separated it from a 67 dash. I guess I could try check it out but have better things to do right now. Thought it was just easier to ask the question.
neutral starter switch wiring will be shorter on a column shift as switch is mounted on column, wires for floor shift are longer to mount switch on the floor shift

I'd say this is correct, plus likely the wires for the backup lights which are also on the neutral safety switch. And even possibly a grey wire for dash lights to illuminate a shift pattern, and maybe even an orange wire for a console glove box light.

An assembly manual may tell the story. 64-66 Chevelle/Beaumonts seem to be the same main harnesses with short auxiliary harnesses that plug in for column shift vs floor shift and auto vs stick. I was surprised when I looked into the differences. 1967 may be more complex. Carl would likely know the differences and what auxiliary harnesses or minor modifications are needed or have the diagram from the assembly manual.
