Fabulous styling. Certainly adds to the styling of a wagon. Very upscale.

All interesting but the one I like best is not in this list, namely the 1957 Oldsmobile Fiesta 4 door HT wagon.

John, I agree. I think this one from the garage tour I did in Toronto last summer may be the same model. He had a wagon and a 4 door.

Hey john, Pretty sure the 1957 & 58 Fiesta is on the list as is the Buick Caballero Jerel.

You're right Ray. When I first saw the thread I just skimmed through and read John's post. I remembered seeing one like that at some point recently. My bad in not looking through the featured link first.

Besides that Red Caballero you saw there is also a Fiesta in the Leaside neighborhood here in Toronto. We don't see either out too much but when we do they cause quite a stir. Very beautiful cars. I've never gotten a photo of the Olds BUT Ted has, because that's the Leaside Car!!

Yeah that is Ronnie's car. He has a nice collection but like alot of us he is getting up there and he doesn't get out as often as he used too. He actually had to pass up on going down with us down to Louisville last summer. He usually always takes a car down there with success.

When you think of it, it's pretty amazing that hardtop wagons were produced at all.  That kind of creativity actually making it to production is what drew me to old cars in the first place.  The sad part is that you don't see as much of that design leadership and taking chances with new designs anymore.  The industry has become much too conservative, and focused on electronic gizmos rather than interesting styling.

I remember seeing a '57 Fiesta in a garage in my old neighbourhood about 30 years ago.  Wonder if it's still there...
