1968 BEAUMONT CONVERTIBLE

I have a chance to trade my '65 Chevelle 300 Deluxe for a 1968 Beaumont Custom/Cloned SD Convertible. The vert has a 396/400 turbo, is finished in Navy Blue with a new Black Top, a Black Interior with Buckets and Console. New BFG Tires, polished American Torque Thrusts 15x7,15x8, Ceramic Headers, 3 inch exhaust H style with Flow master mufflers . 12 bolt with 3:73 and posi It was a complete body off a couple of years ago and was acquired by a good friend of mine from a divorce settlement. Lots of new parts and mechanical upgrades. I know the value of my Chevelle and am curious of the value of the '68. I have no pictures but the original owners owned a very reputable Body Shop. Looking for advice on it's value.

1968 BEAUMONT CONVERTABLE

Well Chris let me start it off. Thinking low to mid 30s. 40 if its perfect. See higher asking prices but not sure what they actually sell for. Sounds like a very nice car.

Hi Jerel thanks for your input and that price range is kinda what I thought. My friend is still deciphering the engine #'s but it looks like a high horsepower 427 from a 1969 Corvette.

RE: 1968 BEAUMONT CONVERTIBLE

I think Jerels estimate is about right IMHO. For reference I sold my 68 Custom Convertible below for $25K 3 years ago, 10 year old on frame restoration, very good body paint and bucket/console interior, built 355, alum heads, big cam, roller rockers, MSD etc, built Turbo350, 3:73 12 bolt posi, redone suspension with disc brakes.

That said in hindsight I think it went a bit low and I would pay $30k to get it back (some of that is emotional money admittedly).

But yours sound like body/paint could be better and drivetrain with BB ads value too so if it was for sale at mid $30s K I would certainly consider it.
