That is probably as nice an example as you could ever find. Obviously kept like new, from new. I could see it being worth the money as it is so nice.
I didn't think they brought those into Canada. Maybe they did at customer insistence, but in minuscule numbers.
In 2009 I met & chatted at length with Dan LaGrou, an actual design engineer for the Sylone. When he retired from GM he and his son Mark devoted themselves full-time to their own business, D & D Fabrications in Michigan, probably best known for his specialization in the Oldsmobile / Buick aluminum 215 V8s. They probably have the largest stock of those engines in the world! He also has the prototype Chaparral engine on display in his showroom.

I don't judge a man by how far he's fallen, but by how far back he bounces - Patton
they were only sold new in the US. The Syclones being a pick up did not have any troubles being brought into Canada, the Typhoons were SUVs making them hard to bring in. I told the guy at the border it was a Jimmy with some custom work done to it. That was back in 96 when I brought it across. Lot of trouble but well worth it. Mine has only 26,000 miles on it
