How about a post where you can describe that recently thought of item, that you wished you had bought years ago. Any item. Or even a idea worthy of a post.

 

I'll start it with;

A garage smock, why didn't I think of this sooner?

Seriously one of the best shop things I have. Wear it over your good clothes when you're suddenly inspired to do car work. I've trashed many a good pair of pants and shirt in the past.

This one is Canadian made, Pioneer brand, available on Amazon.ca. Embroidery by my Daughter.

For me that's easy. As much as I'm glad to finally have a cutting torch after playing on cars without owning a torch, my hoist is the best thing I've ever done. I don't know why that didn't happen 30 years ago. We had the place to do it and everything, but I never did......duh......

Moving to PEI so I could afford an 8 acre property and a building like this:

Both would have been unobtainable in Ontario. I wish I could have done this 20 years ago!

Thanks. It's been great to even have a place to store all the items that were cluttering up the existing single car garage and small workshop! Hopefully if things get back to normal we'll get the hoist this year.
