I wonder what the date of manufacture is? Some countries base the year on when a vehicle is built, not on the model year. This might be the case here.

Yes, That's what I was thinking too. It is a 74 model to us but easily could have been made in late summer or fall 1973.

They refer to Chassis No. which does show 1974 as model year though.
