Wanted: 400 Pontiac block

Looking for a Pontiac 400 block (non 557 block). Will look at a 428 or 455 block if price is right. If theres one laying around and you want it sold let me know. PM me with price.

located in Ontario.

Thats what I was going to do. But the only problem was that then there is no engine in the car for the summer to drive, and secondly the stroker assemblies for the 389 cost more than the 400 blocks. So I figured I can still drive car in summer while building spare motor on the side.

side note: some might ask why not just work on car. The car is at my dads, I can only work on it when I get there. At least the motor I can do at home here.

Last photo of the car you posted, it had no front clip so where's it going? It doesn't take all summer to rebuild the engine plus you can't drive it anywhere anyway.

City of Toronto just started cancelling Canada Day activities so take it from there.

PS: what are your stroking it to?

I never had the front clip off? Might be someone else?s car? Or when it was on the hoist?

I would stroke it to a 421-468, stroker assembly probably depending on which block. Use a 4.25 forged crank. Ported edelbrock heads.
