Turn signal switch

The turn signal on my 68 Beaumont does not cancel when turning left. I have tried three parts stores and can't seem to get a clear answer on what  switch I need; and now I'm not even sure I need to replace the entire switch but just a canceling plate. The car has a two speed power glide on the steering column

Any help or advice would be appreciated

Have you had yours apart yet? Would be nice to see a picture of it. For some there is a cancelling plate that can be replaced. Im trying to jog my memory here as I rebuilt mine about 4 years ago. Pretty sure I used a scrap piece of brake line and sliced it and placed it where the little plastic nodule had worn down. Has worked well and with it now being metal it should last much longer. Ill see if I can find the pictures of it. It was a very simple process.
