John, I had mine done at Autoline in Winnipeg. They have been there at least 40 years because it was about 40 years ago that I had my first factory tour there. I was very impressed, have sold their products since although getting to be less and less of course. They did my 427 carb just like I wanted it. I'm not a fan of the "over restored" look.
1967 2dr Biscayne. L36, M40, G80, K05, F41. #'s. 1967 Impala convert. 283, glide. Parked in the garage since 74 and hasn't moved. Soon to be BB 4speed.
The thing I like about using Autoline is they put the carb on a flow bench after it's rebuilt. I don't know of many carb shops that own or use a flow bench to test carbs.

That's exactly how I want the carb to look. Seems I actually have a lot of good choices in Canada. Thanks to all for the recommendations. I'm going to call a few of them andI'll let you know who I go with.
I was told that this US shop was a good source for carb restorations. Is it worth the extra money in exchange that is high at the moment?

If you want a concourse restoration with the proper plating then yes. Im not sure how many, if any, carb rebuilders in Canada replate them as originals were done.

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
I have tried to contact Moffat's a number of times but there is no answer to the phone and I have not found a web site.
I have also contacted Autoline in St. John's and Winnipeg. St. John's told me to deal with Winnipeg, and head office in Winnipeg told me that I need to work through a retailer like NAPA or another parts retailer who deals with them to get my carb done.
For those who have dealt with Autoline, does this sound right?
St. John's NL. I'd prefer to get it done in Canada. Every picture here, no matter who did the carb, shows good quality work. I'm sure any one of them will be able to do it, once I connect with them.
