I'm not sure if they call them like that in english but the literal translation from spanish would be "gills" (such as sharks gills on their sides). This is about the chromed gills just ahead of the rear wheel wells on the 1965 SD's which are not quite easy to find as I've noticed.
Has anyone tried using '65 Pontiac Catalina 2+2 chrome trims to replace the Beaumont ones????
Are they really similar? Or just not even close?
(I'm just courious 'cause I ran into some vid's on Youtube of some 2+2's and noticed that they use some very VERY similar chrome trims right behind the front wheel well)
Regards, Claudio

Hhahhahaha.. no problem Jerel... It's ok. As I said up there... I was just wondering in case I decide to go with a set of new ones in the future. I have my fender louvers.. the only thing that has me a little thinking... is that my "chilean" SD has 3 sets of 2 instead of 3 sets of 3 as I've seen them on the canadian SD's... Guess that was one way of telling where the car came from.
I found those fender louvers at CarId.com ... I think I'll contact them to get general dimensions of the complete piece and of the spacing between the pins to ... maybe... be able to determine if they might the sames or not.
