Agreed! What a sweet ride. I, too, love that interior with buckets and console of course. I good friend of mine had one with the silver and red interior. Truly a rare automobile.

'64 Mercurys have long been one of my favourite designs.  To my eye, everything looks right on these cars.  Would love to have this one.

I'd own it. Nice colour combo and interior ... and it's CANADIAN.

Still for sale, no price drop. As discussed here many times, it isn't easy to sell this stuff anymore.......cry

I inquired about this car and got some pics a few months back. I really like it. It seems to need a little work but I also think it's a good car. I just decided no more cars for now.

We all have to agree that the tacky Canadian Tire front mud flaps have to go. Yes they really have to go in a big way.

 Agreed. nod.gif

But that car has a story, and with those mudflaps you could take some nice photos on a gravel road (remember those? They used to be everywhere.) Kinda staged like Goin Down The Road with Martin Sheen circa 1970.

First word that came to mind when I saw the car was "Sweet!" 390 4V was tops in Canada. I didn't know they did a Canadian Maurader, I thought all Canadian-built cars were Meteors with the Breezeway back windows, or steel-side wagons. Anyway, I dig the fastback.

Hear of any good Pontiacs lately?   Oh yes, check the top of the page! wink

If this car has a 4 speed it would be pretty much perfect. I'd have a hard time choosing between it and Johnnee's 64 XL 4 speed.

When I was a 15 year old kid pumping gas I frequently fueled up one of these Marauders. I know it was white, black top and if I had to guess I'd say maybe a red interior. Eventually it seems to me he rolled it and it was scrapped, sadly.

I love the period white mudflaps. The guys back then knew that if they didn't protect that rocker, then it was game over in 4 years for sure.

You may be thinking of Doug McGrath, canadian actor, didn't look unlike Sheen but Sheen or his kids weren't in GDTR and

btw that was a great canadian movie very sad and very 1970's.....smile

I remember that movie and I particularly remember the 1960 Chevy convertible  which was a star of that show

Jayne Eastwood was in that movie also
