Girlfriend From Hell Sends Man's 1967 Chevy Impala Project to Junkyard While He’s Traveling

"Turns out that while I was gone, she hired some people to come over

and move everything related to that car, including the drivetrain, body, and chassis

and all parts, and take it to the local dump/scrapyard.

I was absolutely dumbfounded.

I had spent over $11,000 on that car including new parts, services, and the car itself."

Why so harsh on the poor guy. It was his own personal pride and joy. I would have been imprisoned for what i would do to that little B****.

Sorry... not a helpful comment.  You and I definitely don't see eye to eye on the 4-door subject!  LOL

No worries, though, I disagree with many people that I like.  wink

Gotta say, I'm continually dumbfounded by personal struggles like this within a relationship, and really dysfunctional decisions made by people within the relationship, like:  yeah just dump the car, it'll smooth over...  Geez at least it doesn't sound like they had kids together - that's a blessing for sure.

I hope he gets all the parts back, but sounds like a nightmare.  4-door parts are hard to come by as well, since so many of them have been scrapped to keep 2-doors on the road, and nobody makes reproduction parts for 2-doors...

Hateful. At least he got his car back, some low life creep or 2 will have legal consequences, and he got it loud & clear what that woman was all about.  To the curb!
