Now keep your eyes peeled for a set of cheap 15x8 Pontiac snowflakes that need refinishing and have at 'em. Honeycombs look great but are a bit heavy compared to the aluminum snowflakes.
I decided to throw a set of Chevy Rally Moon caps onto both 73 Chevelle base "Deluxe" models photo shown in the brochure. Those caps were used on Camaros 70 - 73, Novas & Chevelles 71 - 73. Closely related to the Pontiac moons.
Below is a picture I found in an old 1974 Consumer Guide of a 350-powered '74 Ventura sedan with the the Pontiac moons. It would be cool to rig it up like a police Nova underneath.

Cam your photo shop skills are great but I have to say that the baby moons seem too featureless, I think MC said this already. In the Pontiac Line only three car lines used the baby moons, Firebird, Ventura and LeMans on the GTO only. I've still got that baby moon option but when I embarked on this project I did have standard cap in mind from the beginning. I will have to admit to being a poverty cap hater for many years but the new look and attitude of my car has changed my opinion. I am also grateful for all the input and support from everyone, its been a fun thread and good outcome.

Hey Ray, you know that mean former-police-code car style that the Blues's Brothers car had? Your's is headed right onto that track. The car looks awesome on those BFG TA's , and painting the rim's was best choice ever man. Congrats on that, really. Would I ever have thought that I'd dig 73 GTO's, no. Do I dig that look on Ray's car? Definitely.
Great setup.
