I just found this user forum, and would like to add my car to your registry.
I have a 1966 Beaumont Convertible that is a very late production model, possibly even the final SD assembled, in conversations with Frank (who is very helpful, well worth the investment and time) at Vintage Vehicle Services it is likely. It was assembled on July 4, 1966 and has a VIN# 67366701XXXX. I have attached the Heritage certificate prepared by the previous owner, as well as the VIN plate and Cowl Tag. When I purchased the car, I became the 4th owner - the original owner manual and Protecto-Plate Warranty Booklet came with the car. It was sold in Edmonton from Jenner Motors to a local doctor in early 1967.
She's a 283/Powerglide, Provincial White, Power White Top, Red Interior. Here are a few photos I just took.
There is quite a story as to how I found and purchased the car, along with it and me relocating to Texas. I am a Native Albertan, born in Edmonton, raised in Calgary. My wife's and my family all still live there, so we come back often.
My son just used it for a 2020 high school graduation parade, and we received lots of comments and interest.
I hope you don't mind, as one of the moderators here I thought it might be best to blank out some of your VIN. You can't be too careful online. I't best not to give out the VIN to anyone. If you really want the entire VIN to appear I will certainly reinstate it.
Would you be interested in having your car featured at the top of this page for a month?

I would not mind if you would like to feature it. I can come up with a pretty good story about it, along with some more photos.
I know she's not 100% original, the previous owner changed to an Edelbrock 4BBL. It runs Ok, except when it sits too long and the dang Ethanol fuel varnish jams the accelerator pump...
Let me know what you need.
Thanks again.

Awesome car and welcome to the site from the Okanagan valley, having also escaped from central Alberta. You couldn't have picked a better color combo. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the story.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.

That would be great. Tell a Texas-sized tale.

Yes, Dr. D. was the original purchaser. Ukrainian name, if that helps further. Don't know if I should post it, let me know. I can post a photo of the Protecto-Plate if so.

Ok Geoff, now I'm going to need some more details...!
I am curious to find out as much about this car as I can. If you have any contact information for the original owner's family, I would very much like to send them a message. As I understood it, the Dr. passed away, and the car was sold as part of the estate? The purchaser was the individual named in the Heritage Certificate (come to think of it, might want to cover that up as well admin), who either had the partial restoration performed or did it himself? There was a load of paperwork that came with the car, some from the first restoration in the '80's, some from the 2003-2005 timeframe during the "second" restoration.
My folks live local to Edmonton, and while they were storing it for me took it to a couple of cars shows back in 2006-2007 time frame.
There are a few pieces that are not original, and it would be nice to know the history behind the car.
Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
David

Really enjoy the pics of the car. Nice colour combo.
The history of our cars is part of what makes them so special.
Here's another vote for featuring the car and it's story.
