bought a used 82 Eldor Britz  . glove bock was full of receipts for repairs including a new engine. on the plus side it was nice ride and an easy 30 mpg. on the neg side a little water in the gas and it would freeze up in the winter. black with white leather

Didn't they have an earlier version with the Olds diesel? That would be a tossup, 4100 or the diesel  confuse

Dad bought a new 1979 Ninty Eight with a diesel. In the few years he own it, it had 3 replacement engines installed

 That was about normal for those. When they ran they sure were good on fuel though!

Dad was not a fast driver and the car used to get all plugged up. Us kids thought it was a riot to floor the thing and watch the black smoke billowing out the back
