When I was setting up my shop I was talking to some buddies about what I needed and I was offered an Ingersol rand t-30 compressor. I had to buy a single phase 5 hp motor and a check valve as it was bad, but what a nice compressor. All it cost me was the motor and check valve. My friend inquired at his work when a building was being renovated and got two of them for a song. The compressors were used in the air handling system to control thermostats and air controllers that operated doors in the heating/ ac system in the building.
