An update on my health situation

Over the last few years I have been having problems with my balance.  Had a scan done 4 years ago and showed a slight leakage in the brain. A few months ago another scan and an appointment with a Neurologist.  She referred me to St Micheals Hospital for an additional set of 2 scans which were done today. 

Will get results in the next week. 

I have given up my storage unit and the trunk and back seat and passenger seat is full of STUFF. from 40 years of owning the Impala.

  I use 2 ski poles to keep me vertical and moving forward.

The reason for this tidbit of info is that I look forward to Breakfast on Sunday and offering some ridiculous pricing on the reaming stuff.

Enjoy being on the site  Wont mention names....ha ha

Been doing physio for the past few weeks, twice a week.

At the end of the Thurs session graduated to one of the machines.  Need to work on strengthening my legs. 

Machine had these great big pedals that you strap your foot into and these arms that fly back and forth at you

Got a call from the Nurologist office and she is scheduling more testing, scans. Have to wait for next appointment call. Appreciate all your thoughts. Looks like more trips into Toronto.

Well Tue I have a 9.00 am appointment at the Abilities Centre in Whitby for acceptance into their "Time" program.

This is a small group physio style.

Have trouble with my posture and walking.

Restarting programs now with covid restrictions.

Still have me scheduled for another MRI Sept 30 at St Micheals 

 

Chev hasn't gone anywhere but determined to make it to Kevin's.

Just got back from my Doctor with the most recent results from the MRI done in Toronto. 

No change....     HYDROCEPHALUS     Build up of fluid in the brain.

Still have difficulty walking and problems with my balance. 

Doctor has been conferring with 2 Toronto doctors.  Best situation is for another assessment but could be one year to two before that happens by Toronto Doctors.

Have been going to Abilities Centre in Whitby twice a week for exercise and once a week on Tue for a half hour training one one one. 

Then there is N O DRIVING     UNTILLLLLLLLL.................
