well me and the wife out for a convertible driving along Lake Superior north the soo. And behold got pulled over.

well it turns out when I,m doing 70 miles an hr I,m only doing 60 which is to fast for where I was driving.

taking out the 21 pin gear putting in 19 see what happens then.

he was nice cop let me go with a warning first time I ever got pulled over in the convertible

I think it was the other way around. Showing 60 when he's actually doing 70..

Marty, did the officer say you were doing 70 miles per hour or did he say 120 kilometres per hour, I just want to understand what happened because all of us have old cars with MPH and not KPH so its a problem anyway regardless of calibration of speedo.

Yes we kind of clocked it with the speed veiw app on my ph I don,t believe it because every body was passing me

No my wife sat on here holding the ph with the speed veiw are on when I was doing 70 my led an hr I was doing 60 miles an hr

So you got pulled over for doing 10 kph over 90 kph ? Is this a joke? In other words you were doing 100 Kph (Which is 62 mph) in a 90 Kph( which is 56 Mph) zone. This is 6 mph over.

Based on this you were travelling 62 mph not 70 mph so your speedo is off by 8 Mph actually in your favour.

If you had been doing 70 mph ( which is 112 Kph) you would have been in trouble because that would have been 22 Kph over (which is 14 mph) and demerit points begin at 18 Kph over so you would have had a 3 point ticket. You are lucky the speedo reads higher that actual.
