1967 Beaumont front bumper guards NEED HELP!!!!!!

Hello everyone I have a 1967 Beaumont and want to install the front bumper guards the problem is they dont seem to fit.  Now to give you some details the bumper guards are GM original but the bumper is a reproduction.  I have my original gm front bumper and the bumper guards fit perfectly however when I go to check the fit on the reproduction they do not fit.  What Im looking for is a little advice on how to get theses guards to fit nicely on my reproduction front bumper.

Thank You for the help in advance

Maybe the solution is to re-chrome my OEM front bumper.  It seems the rear bumper guards fit very nice with the reproduction bumper.
