My brother has a 62 283 engine 2 bbl. casting number says from a corvette. Complete and running $350.00 located in Winnipeg MB. If you cant find one locally. Pm me if interested.
I will likely be selling one from a 62 as well, currently in a 62 Pontiac. Has a cast iron powerglide attached, Im going to see if it runs any day now. Can likely arrange transportation to ON as well. PM me if interested.

You should, 62 is by far the best Darryl plus the cast iron glide is better for snow- weight wise.

Knew 63 was only 327, I guess 62 were the same 327s except for the fuelie BJ? 250, 300, and 340 only?

Very interesting - I started at Gorries in March 65 but don't ever remember anyone mentioning this.....
I know the mechanics that would have been involved including the famed Doug Duncan. By 1965 they had
moved on to big blocks (396 debuted in Jan 65) and their Grand Daddy Gorries' 65 F/X Nova 396 injected.....
To my knowledge the 327 injected Nova never came back, too bad I would definitely have tried to buy it.
