1955 pontiac chieften 4 dr.original motor and transmission.motor was rebuilt in 2009.transmission was removed and resealed 2 yrs. ago.new tires-battery-rebuilt master cly.new aluminum rad just installed.it has a chrome 100 amp. alt.and chrome breather.i have the generator and oil bath breather and rad.this car is solid.no patches in the floors or trunk.it runs and drives amazeing.it also has up greated tapperd front wheel bearings.i have an apprasial for 13.500.it is on the road and i drive it on the weekends.im asking 13000 obo.will pass a safety no problem.interior is redone and in excellent cond. the windshield has a few blemishes.

Wow, just hop in and drive for $13,000. Turn key entry level vintage car with nothing to do to it but drive. This motor is the American 287 V-8 i think, which is a very stout motor. This car has to go to a good sane home please and not a freaking house of horrors.

I'm looking at engine & appears to me to be a 265 SBC but I could be wrong. Car looks to short to be the American model & some ads don't have provision for Cdn. models so get classified wrong????

 Pete, that is an American Pontiac. Just look at the bottom of the front fenders. Also there is no mistaking that is a Pontiac motor. Pete, you may need a new prescription to your eye glasses. Hey, you know i have been there because i have to put on my glasses to look at anything half normal. Just kidding around brother. Cheers. biggrin

Ok George, took a 2nd look and Blury shot from drivers side ,Yes I can make out the intake manifold not the same as SBC. MY BAD & before you say it all the other pictures are clear!!!!!confuseconfuseconfuse
